My husband got up to pick some fresh basil from the plant just outside on patio ( Was so hot we ate inside ) To add to his fresh eggs and tomatoes ! We called Giuseppe when we arrived in Matera and as stated he was there in 10 mns to pick us up. Linens, bedding and shower facilities excellent, ultra modern! "The location is a little away from the main part of town, it's tucked away through the little alleyways. You'll need to be good with stairs to get to and from this place. There is no view from the ground floor rooms. The room we stayed in was very nice, the space is large and cool. There is AC/Heat units in each room.
