"A most magical, unique & specatcular stay in a cave with all the amenities. The staff were so friendly & helpful from start to finish. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family "
"If you’re looking for a truly unique and memorable experience. I highly recommend staying at Casale di Maria in Matera. Domenica goes above and beyond with her attentive and welcoming service. She offers great tips on getting around town, where to go, and the best restaurants to try. It was an unforgettable stay - unlike any other hotel I’ve visited."
"I have been traveling for 5 months and this hotel was by far my favorite! I was blown away by the attention to detail, the powerful ritual and symposium and the incredible heated pool surrounded by replicas of goddesses. The couples’ massage was wonderful and the staff and experience couldn’t have been better. Mindblowingly great! We loved it! "
"Beautiful hotel in the perfect location if you want to be right in the Sassi di Matera. Great restaurants and shops nearby, staff were all very friendly. "
"Matera is breathtaking! Cenobio Hotel is elegance at it’s finest. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful and accommodating. Recommend this place 100%!"
"Giuseppe and his staff are really kind and wonderful, I will definitely come back! :) It’s also very close to the Sassi and museums. I can really vouch for it, definitely. "
"Wonderful place to spend a couple of days in Matera. Really enjoyed having the wonderful large terrace to sit and have a drink early evening and later when the town is all lit up.
Delicious breakfast in cave and very friendly staff! Highly recommend"
"The owner is very friendly and does a great continental breakfast on the roof top deck. There are two tortoises and turtles on the deck. The stairs to the room are steep but the owner carried our luggage. Room was very clean. "
