"Franco’s apartment fit our group’s needs perfectly. It is very clean, well-appointed, and located just outside the Old Town, making for an easy walk to the historical sites, restaurants, and bars. The living room and both bedrooms are large and air conditioned.All three rooms have balconies. Franco is the consummate host, friendly and informative, and he also supplied us with drinks, snacks and cereal. We’d highly recommend Franco’s home away from home!"

"The view from the door entrance was outstanding probably the best part of this hotel. Breakfast was also great with good and plenty to choose from. Didn't know the spa was separately charged so cannot say it was a great feature. Wifi could be better. We walked down to the hotel but suggest to ask for the shuttle which was very nice."

Montant est 20$ Chaque jours stationnement et taxi environ 15 $Mais je recommande fortement cette hôtel lits très confortable . Matera ce visite en 2 a 3 jours seulement tout dépends votre lieu d'arriver vers Matera ."

"Gattini bills itself as a 5 star hotel. My partner and I would not normally pay the extra amount that that 5th star seems to require, but we were desperate to have a refuge from the August heat in Matera at the end of the day … and staying at Gattini was a great decision. It really is quite wonderful and didn’t seem so expensive once we experienced all the good things that Gattini offered. The breakfast was the best we had in 51 days of travel in Spain Portugal and then Italy. Our thanks to the great staff for a great experience in Matera."

"Great location in old town Matera! There are some stairs to get to the property, but the staff was very helpful in carrying our luggage for us. The room was large/comfortable for our family of 4 and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Matera!"

"The EuroStars hotel in Matera is a terrific place to stay. It is a very nice property: very clean, that is quite modern, with spacious rooms, and very well located. An advantage to staying here is that there is a parking lot in the back of the property, where you can easily unload your luggage and park the car for your entire stay in Matera, as you will be able to access all important sites in Matera by walking to them. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants and shops close to the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel staff is terrific. The young lady at the reception desk, who spoke perfect English, in addition to fluent Spanish as well as her native Italian language, was very attentive and provided us with a useful map of Matera and also traced for us the walking route starting from the hotel to all of the sites that we wanted to visit. Although we only had one full day in Matera, I highly recommend to spend two days in Matera to truly enjoy it on a more leisurely pace - as Matera along with Lecce and the old town in Bari are the most interesting locales in southern Italy. (We spent 3 full weeks in touring southern Italy by car.) I also highly recommend this hotel. You will be delighted regarding your stay at this lovely hotel."
