"Giovanni was an excellent host and very helpful. The video sent to us prior to arrival showing how to find our room was so good and precise. Our room was clean and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. The private terrace and breakfast provided was plentiful and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this property, very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the busy streets of Matera. Many happy memories made. Thank you. "

He told me to sit down and enjoy lunch on him (he owns a restaurant by the same name)The owner charged me full price for my room and charged me for lunch- he never gave me a bill).
