"Lovely villa in the Umbrian countryside, about 15' minutes from Todi, on a country road surrounded by picturesque vistas. Great panoramas of Todi and surrounding hills. The villa had all the necessary requirements for a prolonged stay. Very nicely landscaped. The owner was easy to get in touch with, and there is a local caretaker, who is available to help, clean and even cook. Wi-fi was iffy, but probably par for the location. Great place for a gateway from the maddening crowds and about 1 hr...

"As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. "A wonderfully peaceful location. The estate is surrounded by stunning grounds and gracefully kept gardens. Peacocks, cats and 2 dogs live here in harmony and were gentle companions. The pool is wonderful and we managed to blend reading, swimming and relaxation with visits to local villages and Orvieto. Our host was helpful and friendly."

The villa is a short and easy drive to Orvieto and lots of other pretty hilltop towns for coffee and pizza. Shops only 10 mins away for groceries. Tranquil and beautiful property."

"We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore....

"Cassa Del Piano is a secluded, peaceful and quiet house on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful countryside around it. There 3 double bedrooms (one of which is an en suite) in the main house along with a twin room. There is also an apartment style room which sleeps a further 2 people (which our group didn’t need in the end). There is a banquet type hall with ping pong table, another smaller dining room with massive fireplace and a big open ceiling sitting room. The house has a lovely garden...

"Such a beautiful resort. Absolutely breathtaking. The staff were all so amazing and helpful. Rome was about 1.5 - 2 hours away by transit but it was so worth it to stay at this resort. Very easy to take the transit. Very authentic Italian and lots of shopping and restaurants near by. This resort is up on a high hill that cars cannot go up so be prepared to walk up a step hill or 2 but worth it!"
