We were sad saying goodbye to her on our last morning. We loved our room and treated ourselves to room service one of the nights and that was top marks. We ate in the bar another night and down in the Cottage too, couldn’t fault any of them. The only thing that could have improved our stay was the temperature of the pool. Okay for us adults but found it was too cold for our toddler. "

"The perfect location to explore Galway and Mayo counties and the beautiful wild Atlantic coast. The Gate Lodge is clean, warm and well appointed, set on acres of Irish country side. Our host was very responsive."

"Staff was very nice. Hotel well maintained. Pub had good food and breakfast provided had a variety of options. We were nervous about driving between the 2 buildings (it was narrow) to get to the parking, but it wasn't too bad. Definitely would stay again."
