Tastefully design and fitted out bedroom. Plenty of room. Ideal for having a dog along with us. Dinner and breakfast of a very high standard. Delicious cuisine. A beautiful village location.
This lovely hotel in Waddington is warm ,friendly and comfortable .
Headed by by Michael who is a very talented chef and Rebecca and her team who could not have been more friendly and welcoming to us .
First time at The Higher Buck and cannot wait to return .
We cannot recommend this hotel more highly .
We stayed at Higher Buck whilst attending a recent wedding, and it was a great experience. Plenty of car parking space (could do with a car charger). We had a really nice welcome, and were shown to a really nice room. Tastefully decorated, kettle, tea & biscuits! Good bathroom, with very nice towels and goods etc.
We left for our wedding through the restaurant, which was packed and the food looked good.
The room was very nice, and the only reason for 4* on comfort was that the room was very hot, and having to have the windows open meant that the road noise was an issue.
Breakfast was great - very high quality and very nice service.
I would strongly recommend this inn - but I would ask for a back room away from the road

Excellent stay room was lovely spotless breakfast was top class and we ate in the restaurant on the night lovely food will be going back
Fabulous all round. Lovely room, very comfy bed. A lot of lazy flies in the bathroom for some reason.
Staff were very warm and welcoming and the food was amazing.
An absolutely beautiful pub with lovely rooms in a really picturesque village. All of the staff were friendly and professional, the service was excellent. Room was lovely, really cosy and warm. Excellent shower. Excellent choice at the bar, with 4 hand pull beers as well as a choice of lagers. The food was just superb! Great choice, clearly homemade, fantastic quality. Would absolutely recommend.
The room was extreme small No where to put bags no wardrobes to hang clothes apart from three hooks on the wall. The room is positioned on a corner with Tractor's and lorries passing continuously throughout the evening.
Beautiful stay . Rooms slightly small for price but not a a major issue but the huge selling point is the quality of the food. Outstanding evening meal and gorgeous breakfast
Good accomodation in good location. Food in the pub was very good. We would stay again.
Rooms were a little warm initially, had to turn down heating, but came good. Breakfast ok, but not up to the standard of the pub meals.
Lovely setting. Great food and service but bedroom, though beautifully clean, was tiny and not worth what we paid with nowhere to sit.. Also we were put on a soulless table in the corner at the back for our evening meal. We presumed this was as they were busy, but realised as we left that this was not the case (was hard to see from where we were sitting)
