Joey at the St.Georges was a saviour! Without him, I wasn't able to check in solely with the computer console. Staff is required to welcome guests at a hotel.

Individual thermostat was off and all the Windows were open. Absolutely freezing. Normally would have rang to get it sorted but was so tired I went straight to bed. Will be booking in for my weekly stay next week so hope it is remedied

Excellent location, surrounded by many great restaurants. Only staff we say was for check-in and check-out. They were friendly and efficient. Parking was also easy and convenient.

709 room first floor at back on a Saturday is very nosey. And you are next to a alloy of the main high street.

Decent hotel
Upon arrival was given the wrong room from which was booked however after speaking with reception this was corrected and was a decent stay. Comfy bed and decent facilities. Would stay again

Same standard as a premier inn
Room way too hot, not aircon in room but fan provided to circulate the hot air around. Room good size but looks tired lots of marks on wall. Hallway corridor big stain on floor. Doors extremely heavy obviously fire doors but more heavy than usual hotels. Bathroom nice though and bed comfy

Good location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Friday and Saturday nights loud music outside at least till midnight. But We don’t mind. Washroom is clean but can be better if there is a holder for shampoo and body wash in the shower cubicle. And there is no toilet paper holder in my room. It’s inconvenient.

Bad experience
The room was 27 degrees with no air con and a broken fan. There was no window just a door to the balcony. The balcony was for numerous rooms, as people were smoking outside we couldnt then leave the door open for the smell. It was crazy loud until around 4:30am with lots of drunk people smashing doors aroun in the hotel. They didnt even leave biscuits with the tea. Not a great experience

Nice stay!
This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel but the first time during the summer. The room was very hot as there is no air conditioning. There was a fan but it didn't do an awful lot. We did ask for another one which was very promptly left in our room on our return. Sadly we also had the fire alarm go off at 1am on our first nights stay which was very disruptive and annoying to say the least. This was no fault of the hotel, I heard it was the restaurant next door so wouldn't be fair to blame the hotel for this inconvenience and the staff did an amazing job at keeping us all safe by allowing us to take refuge in The George Hotel over the road until the fire crew allowed us access once again. On a more positive note the hotel is very comfortable and very well situated for town and Castle. I would stay here again but perhaps only during the cooler months of the year.

I stayed the night with my sister and first of all I think all visitors should be given the postcode so they can find the hotel and be accessible on the correct side. On arrival we only had hand towels in the room and when we called down to a staff member he replied it is half one in the morning why do you need to shower at that time and insinuated we should wait until the morning. The tv remote had no back and we was u able to watch any television. Also the main door did not lock. All in all we won’t visit again
