Convenient and Comfortable

We took the only first floor room which gave us easy access to the parlor, porch, drinks. It was the perfect location to walk to town. We are used to a bigger bed. This was a queen, but comfortable. It was a fine place for our two night stay in Colorado Springs.

Crescent Lily is a beautiful historic building which has been cared for exquisitely by the owners, Lin and Mark. My spacious room was elegant, comfortable, and welcoming. The ample breakfast which Lin prepared was both healthy and delicious, a wonderful way to start the day!

Charming

Owner was so kind. Decor was really pretty and interesting. As others have noted, bed was fairly firm. Parking was confusing at first, but the location really couldn't be beat - easy walking to downtown. We also enjoyed sitting out on the porch and watching the rain. Breakfast was delicious - eggs benedict.

Very Cozy

Mixed Feelings!

What a lovely bed and breakfast, filled with antiques, located in an area in close proximity to restaurants, historical downtown and river park for recreation. Too bad the cleanliness was neglected. The lovely dark cranberrcarpets had layers of accumulated dust and grime along the baseboards, and under the beds and furniture. The bed.....well if you like rock hard beds, you will love it, but we honestly3ndured two restless nights trying to get comfortable. A nice two inch mattress topper would be a good addition, If you are expecting a delicious breakfast, go to a restaurant. Warmed over Costco quiches, etc, canned fruit, undercooked scones were the norm. Opt for the granola and yogurt if you value your health. Even the coffee was second rate. The proprietor was very nice, but she has a lot to learn spa out being a hostess. Price was the best part....very economical.........so guess it’s a trade off. We will look apt ratings more carefully if we return to Co Springs in the future.

Quaint and Lovely

We were warmly greeted by Lynn when we checked in. The room was lovely and met all of our needs. The innkeepers are attentive to details large and small. Breakfast was delicious, quiche and freshly pitted cherries. Thank you for such a memorable occasion.

Breakfasts were bad

The Crescent Lilly is somewhat run down and could use new carpets in the rooms, for example. The breakfasts were inedible and I ended up eating out for the last days of my 5 day stay. You are served very small portions of food that is found in the frozen food department of the supermarket and then heated up, like a small round sausage. I don't really eat meat and the owner never even asked. The granola in the glass jar was stale as I searched for an edible breakfast. I was asked if I wanted toast and was served one small piece of bread loaded with butter. The owner seemed annoyed when asked simple questions and didn't even have any fresh fruit to offer. I was told that the food shopping day was "tomorrow." when I asked for a banana for the stale granola. However, I decided not to eat breakfast for the rest of my stay. So, to call this a bed and breakfast sees like false advertising. The location is good.
