"Great view, friendly staff."

"Very expensive for an outdated, no amenities and very limited breakfast bar with expired milk. Very good location and friendly staff. Room was not very clean. Had a broken tile on the bathroom floor. The elastic in the sheets was worn from being old and wouldn’t stay on the king-size bed. Not sure I would go back to this hotel."

"We recently stayed at The Carriage House and had a very nice experience. There was a concern with our first room door, but the gentleman at the front desk handled it immediately and could not have been more professional, kind, and apologetic. He moved us to a new room right away, which was perfect. The continental breakfast was very nice, the staff were pleasant, and the main area was beautifully decorated. The location was also very convenient, close to the beach, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. We appreciated the excellent customer service and would definitely stay again."

"Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. The pictures online look great, but in person of felt like a cheap flip. The walls are paper thin and you could see daylight under the doors, so sound really travels. The only thing clean in the room was fresh bedding and towels. The floor was so dirty my feet were black after a few minutes of walking around and getting settled, there were old contacts left next to the nightstand and dust and hairballs in the corners of the room. The motorized blinds did not work in our room and when we notified staff they came up with some excuse that they were dead and needed to be charged and never followed up. We were on ground level next to the parking lot and entrance to the building so we ended up using pillows to block the outside view into our room. We let the front desk know again of all of these issues when we checked out and during that conversation they did not inform us that they were adding charges to the card on file for daily amenities and miscellaneous other charges, just handed us a paper and that was that."

"Our shower was broken and had to be repaired. We were visiting for a weekend wedding celebration and this made things difficult for being on schedule. Our supplies for toilet paper and tissues was very low. I believe these are essential and should have more than just a half box of tissues and one roll of toilet tissue. The workers were kind and most helpful even though the issues should not have happened."

"This is a three star hotel that should be a best, a two star. On the surface it seems to have all the bells and whistles, however the general feel is that is is old and tired, and needs a really good scrub. Carpets that have seen better days, dust on air vents. The breakfast amenity is overpriced (pay per item( pre packaged gas station type food like breakfast sandwiches, juices and yogurt, seems not very popular with guests. Pros, the area we had our room was very quiet."
