Stunning location and grounds. The staff are so warm and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and very private. Plenty of towels, robes, spa shower products. Luxurious rooms. Great variety in dining options, local food suppliers. Great history in the hotel & grounds. We only stayed one night - I wish we could have spent longer here. We had a drink in the Boathole a fabulous relaxing dinner at The Kitchen, walked the walking path one the grounds and visited an old cemetery and megalithic stone site. You can fly fish, shoot clay pigeons, do archery or falconry. Very classy and beautiful place. Definitely worth the money to stay here you won't be disappointed. The staff and very kind and classy.

I rarely write a review of a hotel, but I feel compelled to review Ryan Hotel because it was such a pleasant stay.The food at the adjoining bar, the Crow's Nest, was great and the BusEireann stops in front of the pub. The breakfast was good, the king size bed was the most comfortable on our trip and the room was very pleasant.The best thing was the staff who went to great lengths to help us, including asking a guest who was being picked up by a friend and driving to Galway to give us a ride. Absolutely great service at the hotel, we arrived early and they took our bags and called when the room was ready. Restaurant staff were amazing always ready to assist, take orders and clean up both meals and empty tables. Music in the lounge was great it really suited the room and added some atmosphere. Stayed here as we were attending a friends 40th birthday party being held downstairs.had requested a triple room as I was travelling with my two daughters,the room was just gorgoeus and very very spacious.beds were extremly comfy too.bbreakfast the next morning was lovely and if I was to be very "picky" id say "pancakes would hav been a nice addition to the breakfast menu".overall I would not hesitate to stay here again or reccomend it .
