Did a same day booking at the hostel and I had all the 6 bunks to myself! Beds were more comfortable than what I expected them to be. All in all, a good night’s rest after a long hike!

Staff is nice.
Nice community atmosphere. The place is reasonably clean.
I was disappointed that Hostel, was listed under HOTELS. I did not even know what a Hostel was. We were going to a wedding, traveling from CT. I looked quickly (my part of this mistake), booked for two night stay. When I found out that we would have to share a bathroom with a complete STRANGER, I nearly flipped !!!!!! Could only cancel one night, so we really did not have much of a choice!!! We had to go to this wedding!!!
checked in and was told i was sharing a room with 4 others.I asked if i could cancel second night she said sure with out a problem.Everyone does it.I said are you sure or I will stay. She said it would not be a problem.I did not get a refund.they emailed me about canceling and i was on the road for long ride home.I emailed and said yes i drove home.and emailed again no response. expedia tried and no response by phone and then expedia said they are not going to refund. they lied to me.It was noisy all night and had 2 hrs sleep
very noisy place.
We chose this hotel based on price, because we needed just a place to sleep, and didn't want to spend too much. It was perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable.
My issues with this stay were a result of the people staying there rather than the hostel itself. I had placed my belongings on my bed in the 6 bed female room (three double bunks). I went to dinner and when I came back, they had been moved and a woman had taken that bed. If you don't mind hostels and you don't mind all that goes with it, then this is a decent one. I didn't use the kitchen or other facilities. I came late and ended up sleeping in my car from about 2am on. The hostel seemed to be on a residential street, and there didn't seem to be much around. There is more in North Conway if you don't mind driving a few minutes.
