"The Lighthouse side of the property is truly underrated, everything from arrival to departure was an amazing experience! The views, the views, THE VIEWS! We stayed in an Ocean side condo, three beds (two were Master) and a half bath and our own pool. The property itself was phenomenal, there's a small store on site with a restaurant with agreeable prices & they had Happy Hour! The HH drinks were hands down the best I have had at any other vacation property. If traveling as a family of 5-6, or just as a group, please do yourselves a favor and book one of the Lighthouse condos, it will most definitely add that extra WOW factor to your experience."

"The views from the property are beautiful, especially while floating along the edge of the pool. You get 3 bedrooms with splitlevel ac units while also an open air island experience in the main level living area, dining room, and kithchen. The host had very good recommendations for car rental and for snorkeling/diving. We used Daniel for our car rental, he was waiting for us at the airport gave us the rental car and personnaly took our luggage to the villa so we could do our grocery shopping along the way. We took advantage of the Bubble Shop for a snorkeling trip which allowed a private 4 person group very reasonably priced. Our captain Lorice was like having a family member take you out in their boat for the afternoon. Although the property is on the Dutch side of the island, you can literally walk to the French side. Mama Pizza and EZH are well worth dining at, excellent hospitality. We were met at the property by Maryse, who went out of her way to also meet Daniel earlier to drop off the luggage and then came back to walk us through everything. Due to mother nature the easterly winds had blown Sargassum grass on shore so we had to use the beaches on the West and North sides of the island. Which made for more exploring and seeing things we may have missed otherwise. I almost forgot the Monkeys that live in and around the area, they are not bothersome but were an added treat to watch.If we do another Sint Maarten trip we would definitely rent Carpe Deim again"

"This place was such a relief, a true haven after the fist week at another horrible place So glad we found it and a true gem. The accompanying resort to this villa/condo was a great location too - offering serenity, activities and the best staff and food too. Oh and on premise little bakery too. Our last week here saved our vacation. A great place! "

"I can't say enough about our stay at the Villa Luminary. It is a beautiful property, well set up for a group of 10 or so. There is a property attendant on site (separate space - we never saw him unless we requested something) who is very responsive. The host was also available by text anytime there was a question. The location and amenities are great, e.g. short walk to the beach which we did almost daily with kids, but the service and attention are the hallmarks of this space. We would go back in a minute, and probably will "
