"Was a good stay overall, the infrastructure was still improving. The seaweed was stacked on the beach and a hard smell to overcome. Not the hotels fault.. winds were not in their favor. Overall good experience all staff were friendly."

"Beyond amazing stay at the Marriott in St. Maarten — truly the best customer service I’ve experienced at any hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The rooms are gorgeous, modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stunning ocean views and great amenities. The gym is large and well-equipped, and the pool area is absolutely beautiful — the perfect place to relax. What really made this stay unforgettable was the staff: - Kevin at the pool was always smiling, warm, and genuinely interested in how our day was going - Alexis at the pool bar was so friendly and attentive, always making sure we were having a great time - Jean Claude crafted amazing drinks and made every interaction fun - Niobi at the Restaurant felt welcoming and inviting every time we visited - Antonio and Shatijah at the front desk were incredible — professional, kind, and helpful - Dane the bellhop remembered our names and greeted us with such positive energy - Shadira, the hostess, was so warm and pleasant - Marla, the concierge, gave us the best recommendations The team went above and beyond to make my mom feel like a queen on her birthday — from the perfect drink to a delicious red velvet cake delivered to our room. It was such a thoughtful and special touch. This stay was truly unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!"

"The property itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, my overall experience was mixed. The layout is not very accessible. While there are elevators, they don’t always take you directly to your room or key areas like the pool, so getting around can be inconvenient. The location is also difficult to explain to taxi drivers if they’re not already familiar with it. I had issues with service as well. They asked how often I wanted my room cleaned, I selected every other day, and they only cleaned and provided new towels one time the whole trip. Even with the Do Not Disturb sign on and letting staff know I didn’t want breakfast, they still knocked multiple times and called the room phone and woke me up, so I never got to sleep in, which defeated the purpose of a relaxing trip. Breakfast itself was very minimal, just croissants and flavored yogurt, and not filling. The beach is a steep walk downhill and is connected to the Marriott, so you don’t have access to their chairs or amenities. Overall, I made it work for a one-time stay, but I wouldn’t return or recommend it."

Gabi and her family have transformed this beautifully renovated, post‑hurricane home into a truly exceptional villa that feels both luxurious and incredibly thoughtful. Every detail is intentional — from the coffee station offering multiple brewing options, to flashlights and lanterns thoughtfully placed in every room, to plush bathrobes that instantly put you in vacation mode. Despite the villa’s impressive size, everything is clearly labeled and easy to use, making it relaxing rather than overwhelming. Mornings started with coffee and French bakery treats while soaking in the views, and the toughest decisions we faced all week were figuring out which light switch did what — and which coffee to choose. Villa Fantome delivers comfort, charm, and five‑star attention to detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"EXCELLENT stay and property! The villa has everything you need!! There was nothing we needed that the villa did not have - from the kitchen, to the bathroom, to the pool float. Honestly, just bring yourselves and a small suitcase! Don’t hesitate to book this! It was the perfect ladies getaway with my mom and aunt and it could not have been more fabulous for our 1st time to St. Martin. So serene, beautiful, and well-appointed. Host is also responsive. Can’t wait to return. Thank YOU!"

The accompanying resort to this villa/condo was a great location too - offering serenity, activities and the best staff and food too. Oh and on premise little bakery too. "Our group visiting FantaSea consisted of three families and we all were very happy with the beautiful accommodations! The view was beyond spectacular! We spent a significant amount of time lounging on the large deck that had plenty of lounge chairs, dining table, grill, couch and lovely, large pool. Plus, it was a quick walk down to the beach! We also greatly appreciated there were plenty of beach towels and chairs available! Both the owner and the housekeeper were super attentive and responded immediately to all our questions and concerns."
