Fabulous Birthday at the Beach

Perfect Gettaway!

What a gorgeous spot! The view from the floor to ceiling windows was fabulous - the beach is terrific and a joy to take those morning hikes or jump in for an afternoon swim. If is it chilly, the pool is sheltered and VERY WARM. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for eating in - a great place to stay for a true unplugged experience.

This is one of the best condos we have ever stayed at on the island and we have stayed at pretty much all the big ones! Mark was phenomenal to work with and we will definitely be renting this unit again!

Beach vibes

Incredible views! Wall to wall windows!! Only thing is if you want see outside, you have to wipe the windows down from the outside to remove sand & moisture with a damp cloth. But that would not stop us from staying there again. You’re on the beach! A corner room!! The entire place was beautiful, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We will be back.

What a view!

This property was fabulous! The view was outstanding. Fifth floor condo with wraparound covered veranda. Just steps to the beach and a big clean pool. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again!

Nice condo with fantastic views of the beach. It was well-equipped for our weeklong stay. One of the two elevators was out of order and the working one was dirty and had burned out bulbs and missing ceiling covers, but otherwise the property was lovely.

This is a small condo just right for 2 couples. The views are incredible. The beaches are not crowded. The condo was comfortably furnished. The owner was available to handle issues or questions promptly.

And the beach wasn’t over crowded either bc we went after the whole tropical storm Beryl fiasco.

For the most part the condo is very accommodating; however, the kitchen faucet STILL needs to be replaced since the water will not completely shut off. This has been a big problem both stays. And, while we did not use the hall shower, there was a lot of mold. It's time for some updates to this condo.

The smart TV wasn’t able to access my own YouTube or movie account (3 star situation).

Last Minute Trip to the Beach

I spent a lot of time looking for the right rental for my family and me for our vacation to Corpus Christ/North Padre Island during this very unusual summer. I was very pleased to find the Fifth Floor Flamingo Rental! I has not 2, not 4, but it has 8 floor to ceiling windows that face the beach! I was skeptical of the chairs on the balcony at first, but they are very sturdy and lift you up where you can see over the balcony rail and also have a foot rest - and yet are light enough to move around. The rental was nice and clean with modern amenities. The photos of this rental are accurate. We visited mid August 2020 and there were only a few vehicles on the beach. There was plenty of room for all beachgoers. Mark, the rental owner, is very easy to contact if you have questions. We had a very nice time and hope to come back to the Flamingo or one of Mark's other rentals on North Padre Island again someday!

Extraordinary

The views are perfect! It was windy when we were there so the two sided balcony gave us an opportunity to stay out of the wind and enjoy being outside listening to the waves. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the showers were nice and hot with great water pressure. Very close to shopping and dining. The pool is spotless and 7 feet deep! We will definitely stay here when we come again.
