"Super easy and we were right by security for the morning "

"Check-in was quick. But there was only one lift working to the room floor so there was a wait. Initially the room seemed fine. But taking a shower in the evening, the drainage was blocked and the bathroom flooded. A report to reception was met with inaction and indifference. Apprently there was no maintence available until the following morning and then only after the room was vacated. Not a satisfactory outcome . Very poor guest service and in consequence we will not be staying here again."

"The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, the free Wi-Fi was adequate but there is a paid version which is faster, and the breakfast was good. All staff seemed pleasant, helpful and welcoming."

"Incredible, affordable, beyond our expectations. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights for his birthday. I didn’t have the biggest budget so when I saw the excellent price at Holiday Inn for what looked like a great hotel, I was somewhat sceptical- However, our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely pleasant, we came early to leave our luggage instead of dragging it through london and they were very happy to assist and hold on to it until we checked in later. When we returned we were checked in swiftly. The staff offered us great advice on transport to/from london. The bar staff are very friendly, the cleaners are polite and will knock and ask if you need anything in the afternoon- The service is 10/10. The room was massive, spotless and well-stocked. They use eco-friendly shampoos / body wash. There’s an ironing board and hair dryer, free teas and sugar etc. The huge tv has the ability to cast stuff from your phone and many channels available. Theres a telephone with access to 24/7 room service. I’m an extremely cold person and the heating comes on fast :) You also have full control over the thermostat. Overall the whole experience was excellent for the price, despite having a small budget it felt as though we were staying in a 5 star hotel that would generally be wildly over budget. It really exceeded our expectations and we plan to return again later this year after we’ve saved up for another london trip :) "

"Very easily accessed through each terminal at Gatwick, great dining options very well equipped rooms for a one night stay close to the airport before we had to get our flight internationally the next day "

"The room offered was down a dark and dated corridor, the room was damp, cold, very strong smell of mildew. A plug-in heater was provided, which helped, but I couldn't sleep because of the overbearing smell. The room had everything available, accessiblity etc taken care of, it was just not used, or not heated enough to keep the dankness out of it. Very disappointing."

"Outstanding value for this hotel. Spotlessly clean, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Quiet, convenient to shopping, and not far from LGW we are SO GLAD to have found this property. Meals in the hotel bar were excellent and decent portions. Unreservedly recommend."
