I really enjoyed my stay at Lovat House - the room and bathroom was very spacious, the bed SO comfortable and the host, Joe, was a delight!!! It’s easy to find and in a great location and I had no trouble parking. If I return to Crieff, I will be going back and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Crieff.

A very welcoming new B&B. There was good selection of breakfast options. Our full Scottish breakfasts where lovely and served with a friendly smile.

I have to give a poor rating. Despite Joe being very pleasant, this was our first ever time staying in a B&B that did not clean the room, or tidy the beds, on a daily basis. We were informed he did not "service" the rooms. That's ok if you stay one night... we were staying three! (Paid for in advance via expedia) He even gave us bin bags to empty our own bins when i complained. (bathroom too). Having ourselves had a B and B for 39 years, we were astounded! The breakfast room was cold and stark..not warm and welcoming. All self service, including a large milk bottle in the fridge and a jam jar which had obviously had a buttery knife in it - yuck ! We would not recommend!

Great find

We had a very pleasant stay at Lovat House. This is a lovely property with just two guest rooms which allows for a quiet and personal stay. The room was spacious and clean with a pod coffee maker which also doubled as the hot water for tea The only thing missing from the room were glasses for water but the cups were used for this purpose Breakfast was freshly made and very well cooked (including the obligatory Haggis)!!!. This was more than adequate with toast, fruit juice etc and a plethora of teas. Cereal was also available as were alternative breakfasts but I was glad to opt for the traditional cooked offering. The town has a lot of shops and even a distillery which we sadly didn’t have time to investigate. Joe was always very friendly and anxious to provide a top quality service which he absolutely met. Will happily return.

Excellent accommodation and great food!

Spent a weekend in Crieff for a wedding. Joe was a superb host; getting in touch ahead of time to see how he could help with anything, cooking us some superb breakfasts and generally being an awesome guy. Would highly recommend...

A really lovely B&B.

I have stayed here before on a previous trip and didn't hesitate to book straight away when I knew I'd be working in the area again! Joe is a great host and the B&B itself is really lovely. Such a convenient location and I had a lovely breakfast cooked by Joe. Right next door to a pub and a supermarket. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

A lovely, relaxing stay.

The place was in a really convenient location, right on a main road next to a pub and a Co-Op. There was free parking immediately outside of the door which was great. Joe, the owner, was very helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. The room was lovely, spacious, clean and pleasantly decorated. I had everything I needed for a lovely stay. Breakfast in the morning was also really lovely; very nice cooked breakfasts!

Excellent host, very welcoming. First class cooked breakfast. Delicious. Room was spacious and clean. Traffic could be heard outside as location on main road, but bearable. Shower slightly awkward,but think that was user error as my partner managed fine. Would stay here again and highly recommend giving other travellers. Thanks again to Joe. really enjoyed our 2 night stay here.

Crieff stay

The Bed and breakfast is in a lovely central location in Crieff. The high street is only a five minute walk away with all the amenities one would require. Joe was a lovely host! The accommodation has everything needed for a pleasant stay and the breakfast was delicious with more than enough choice to please even a picky palate. Thoroughly recommend a stay at the Lovat!

Comfortable experience in a lovely town

We were welcomed and made very comfortable with plenty of information about the local area. Dinner was at a nearby pub and in the morning we were served a lovely breakfast. The sun shone and all is well with the world!

Lovely stay at Lovat House

Joe contacted me beforehand to check when we would arrive and so was watching out for us. We were straight into our room and able to enjoy a welcome drink from ane extensive range of teas and some special Lovat House shortbread. Joe provided us with information about local places to eat and although Crieff was busy we were able to find somewhere nearby. Bed was very comfy so slept well and we were spoiled for choice for breakfast.

Wealth of extra touches

Handy central stay whilst visiting family. Lots of lovely little touches like organic toiletries, home baked biscuits and thick towels. Coffee machine.Delicious breakfast - no grease. Spotlessly clean room and breakfast room. Welcoming host with discreet service.
