"This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. The place was clean although old paint work and an excess of silicon on the shower tray gave the place a generally shabby feel. Then we opened the oven to find the grill pan had...
