"This was our third year staying at the best porch in Swansboro! We love the historic house and all the amenities it provides, and we love the location in the heart of downtown Swansboro. Brad and Imogen are great hosts and super responsive. The new kitchen remodel is fantastic. You have everything you need and more. And the little touches are so special, like the wine cooler and turntable in the kitchen to listen to vinyls while cooking a meal. The back yard is screened in and the porch really...

Top Crystal Coast Hotel Reviews

Oceanana Motel

8/10 Good

"It’s nostalgic to me as we went there when I was a child and later took my kids there when they were small. The place looks almost exactly like it did 25 years ago. Some extra wood nailed in here and there to make it safe to walk. Lots of areas where one could easily trip. One problem; they said they were no longer dealing with Expedia and charged me extra for taxes they say Expedia didn’t collect. I want to look into this because it seems “fishy” to me."

Lighthouse Suites - Best Western Signature Collection

10/10 Excellent

"What a wonderful hotel! Friendly and attentive staff, super comfortable beds, roomy suites, convenient location and budget friendly. Breakfast was decent, with yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee all available virtually from 6:30 to early afternoon. A waffle iron and frozen breakfast sandwiches/ microwave were the only hot breakfast options, but that is likely because of staff and space limitations. Not a deal breaker for us, as we’d definitely book here again if we return to Emerald Isle."

Spectacular Direct Oceanfront 2BR Condo in Emerald Isle NC Ocean Reef 7B1

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent beach location and access to the ocean, just steps away. Very pleasant complex. I LOVED the two tennis courts and the fact that in late October, they were not locked up and shut down. Be aware that linen service is not provided at this rental, so we brought our own sheets and towels. There are sheet sets in closets and drawers to use, and they need to be washed, dried, and folded back when you leave the property. The kitchen pot holders were frayed, food soiled, greasy and frankly, needed to be replaced, so bring your own, too. Other than this, the place was nice. Be aware that there are a few low steps within this rental (from the kitchen to the family room area and getting in and out of the back slider and front door), so if steps are a concern please take this into account when staying here. We were there in October and it was warm and so was the ocean water. The area was quiet and peaceful and the few folks staying in this complex all acted like responsible adults."
