"The house is located in the beautiful Emerald Isle Beach. We realize that everyone is getting back to work and jobs after the Pandemic and there are I am sure staff shortages, however, the cleanliness was noticeably lacking. The dishwasher was broken and lock on sliding door broken. Sun and Surf was easily reachable and quick to respond . Staff was friendly and helpful since we talked to maintenance several times. "Really good experience; great layout for meals and conversation for nine people. The property needs a bit of TLC, but nothing that hindered our stay. One cabinet door was off hinges. Table lamps needed for both sides of king beds; things like that, trivets and hotpads to protect the table, new or sharpened knives. If you aren't cooking much, these things won't bother you at all. The short walk to the beach on wooden path was wonderful to protect from sand spurs. Lovely stay."

"We had a wonderful experience. There were two families that stayed and the room layout allowed for each set of parents have their own master along with the kids having rooms. Kitchen layout was perfect and the view from the top level office made for a great place to remote work a few days. Awesome TV in the media room! We had to call maintenance for a lock on a door that was a problem. They came right out and were able to get it resolved quickly. We had a great stay at this location."
