"Very convenient location .We walked to get pizza for lunch and then soft serve ice cream at ice cream and candy shop . Staff was very welcoming and smiling . Property need some renovation. Having car infront of the room is a great feature on this property. We had a great experience for our family getaway weekend . Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something low key southern vibe with sea shells 😊"

"If you’re looking for the ultimate beach vacation rental, look no further than The Beach Walker — we absolutely loved every minute of our stay!From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly communicative and responsive. Any question we had was answered quickly, and they were so flexible and accommodating throughout the entire booking process and our stay. It really set the tone for our vacation, which is exactly what you need when you’re traveling with kids!The house is massive! There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. But the real star of the show? The beach access is just steps away. We were in the sand and surf in no time, which the little ones (and honestly, the adults too!) absolutely loved.The private pool was an incredible bonus; it truly elevated the whole experience. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand.Inside, the kitchen was well-stocked, making meals at home easy. The bedrooms had fresh, clean sheets and the towels were clean and plenty — those little things really do make a difference! Lots of board games, a dvd player, TV in every room with a charging plug, and a foosball table on the bottom floor.And to top it off, the house had plenty of beach chairs, unbrellas, body boards, beach toys, and balls all ready to go!The location in Emerald Isle is unbeatable. Everything you need is within a 5 min drive!Highly recommend this property to very large families or multiple families and friends having a reunion. "

"The air conditioning could use updating as it is a little noisy but overall this is a great place to stay. It’s very convenient to the beach and pier as well as great food. There’s shops including beachwear, ice cream and restaurants in walking distance. I would stay again. "

"Location and convenience to the beach made this a great place to stay. The pool and outdoor space was a highlight of the property. The house is well appointed with all the items you would need to live as though you were in your own space and the items weren’t the cheapest you can buy. There were nice touches inside. The beach equipment was a little less than stellar. The beach cart was broken and the chairs were very rusted. We would have brought our own had we known the condition of these items. I am not sure if it is the time of year but the cleanliness of the house was not what I would have expected. These two items were the only issues. "

"Joey’s Place was attractively decorated and convenient to the beach and shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the deck and sunporch. There is a ground floor entrance, which is useful for anyone who does not do stairs well.April is a wonderful time to enjoy the beach!"

"The house was absolutely beautiful, in a great location where we would walk to the beach as well as coffee and ice cream shops. The host was so nice and easy to communicate with, and even offered for us to go a day early since it was cleaned early (which we took her up on)! Would definitely come back!"
