"The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. "The rooms was comfortable and had a gorgeous view of the castle. A top floor room also means privacy from the busy street below (which can be quite lively at night!). The gym facilities are excellent and accessible. The staff were generally friendly but occasionally aloof. The lack of air conditioning meant a very warm room most of our stay in June, so a fan (provided in-room) is necessary. The open window somehow did not cool down the room at all at night, so sometimes it was hot in the room but lovely outside. Location is incredibly convenient and walkable (under 15 mins) to Waverly Station. "
