The property is in an amazing location and was perfect for our family. The negative is that the location is very loud, and was under construction. I would absolutely go back but just wanted to make sure folks know how loud it was. The staff were great as well.

The apartment was very small for 4 people and airless! Very noisy neighbourhood and lots of bus stops outside window 24hours! You had to walk through a maze of corridors to get to it or out of it!

I liked that we where close to everything the bus stop was just outside The apartment was very clean and staff very helpful However we found the apartment to small for four of us it would of been perfect for two people though

Would use them again

We stayed in one of the apartments that enabled the option of self catering. The size and layout was spot on for a couple. Very clean, quiet and positioned ideally to be walking distance to key parts of the city. Would definitely return. Great shower as well, powerful and hot at all times.

Very central and walkable location. Staff very friendly and attentive. I found the apartment hot and front desk immediately brought me a fan. Wifi would cut out on me occasionally, but otherwise a great little apartment. Considering part of the university it was quite quiet.

Good locaton and price

It is basically university housing. It is a bit tight for space but is in a great locaton. We walked from the train station with the suitcases. The combo microwave and oven took a while to figure out.

Under renovation

There was a fan outside the room that was very noisy. There was a chemical smell in the building, maybe paint or such. The renovation works meant that going into and out of the property was a labyrinth.

This property was perfect for our short stay in Edinburgh! The location was a short walk to the Royal Mile and right around the corner from multiple grocery stores, restaurants and pubs. Despite being close to a busy area the street was quiet. The room was larger than I had anticipated and was very clean! The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. If I had one complaint, the lift was broken when we arrived and we had to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor with our luggage, however this was fixed by the next day and didn't detract from our stay here. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Edinburgh!

We did not like the fact that when checking in they claimed that Expedia had booked us into a small room and not the 2 story apt. displayed on the Expedia web site. Fortunately we had a copy of our reservation which included a photo of the room which enabled my wife to negotiate a transfer to the accommodation we had booked. Expedia needs to review its website to show the various prices and sizes of accommodation and inform purchasers that the hotel is attached to a student residence. We would recommend this property to family and friends for location, design of units and value for price.

The staff were really attentive and efficient. The location was near several restaurants, pubs, and shopping. The walls and the doors are extremely well insulated so you can’t hear anything from the neighbors. A fan was also provided. Overall a great location.
