"Difficult parking as there weren’t any spaces until the next day ."

"Only one complaint, the bar and restaurant are to cold which is not only uncomfortable for the customers eating and drinking, and also results in any hot food being served up gets cold very quickly. we had a 5 night stay, and during that time all of the hotel staff were truly great. Thank you Crown Plaza for a wonderful stay. Alan & Janet Matthews"

"The refurbishment of the Met has been well done. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast however was not so good with limited buffet options and not obvious that you can order hot options. The coffee was terrible! The layout for parties is poor as we were met by a very large and moisybcrowd on Friday early evening coming out of the loft making it very difficult to cross the hotel lobby."

"Arrived at hotel to be given a room number 368 that didn’t exist, not a good start after a long journey. Booked in for dinner at hotel restaurant, service was okay but food was disappointing in terms of quantity and not prepared as described by the menu. When this was pointed out to the staff we were told that the menu was changing next week and so this shouldn’t happen again, not good. Our room was very warm, there was no heating on, but when we opened the window to let in some cooler air we realised we were close to the kitchen extract fan pumping out a greasy and unpleasant smell. Overall very disappointing as we use Hilton Double Tree hotels regularly and this particular hotel was not up to the expected standard I’m afraid."

"Disappointing - room size decent but had to search for kettle, coffee and tea found in a warm wardrobe with milk sachets looked like it hadn't been filled for weeks. Curtains hard to close had to lean on back of sofas to reach. Breakfast cool hot food, not much choice . Only filter coffee tasted like it had been stood a while and a domestic toaster just the one"
