1 hr to Kings Docks in L’pool, 1+hr to Trearddur Bay and Harlech Beach. Perfect location as very close to dual carriageway and easy to jump on main road - within 4-5 minutes. Consequently, murmur of road noise always present.
If you are out and about, and like to drive to places, I 100% recommend.

"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away.
The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! "

"My friends and I stayed for two nights for my friends mini hen do. Suzy decorated the place for us and wrote a card for my friend which was so lovely and she absolutely loved it! Couldn’t have asked for a better place! So clean and tidy, loads of room and decorated amazingly. We were taking photos as inspo! The hot tub is perfect especially as it’s covered, we were lucky with the weather but if it were raining then you’d be fine! Gowns provided for the hot tub, firewood provided for the fire and basically everything you’d need!! Thanks so much for a lovely stay "
