"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"The hotel was disgustingly. It stank of cigarettes. Chose it as conveniently close to Anfield for a match we were attending. The room was filthy. Dust everywhere No bin. No tea or coffee facilities as advertised. Not even a bin in the room. Tv didn’t work. Only 1 towel for 2 of us. Bathroom dusty and shower was filthy. Toilet cistern dripped all night. Couldn’t wait to leave. Please avoid."

"Everything was great. The room only had one outlet. Adding an additional outlet would be helpful. The room is small but well compacted."

"Before the negative; it was a great location close to many local towns and attractions to visit. The food at the sports bar was nice but didn't try the others. Breakfast was ok (ish) but the staff were lovely. HOWEVER, the cleanliness of the cabin was absolutely shocking firstly we had a rotten apple, cloths and sponge left on the veranda. We asked for them to be moved, we went out for 3 hrs and when we returned they hadn't been moved so we moved them. The inside table was tatty, the skirting boards all throughout looked like they hadn't been touched in a year, the complementary soap dispenser was full of grime and the outside had a table but no chairs. Very disappointing for a 5 star accommodation. Luckily we just used it as a base as we were out and about most of the day."

"Stayed in this hotel before and had similar experiences both times. Staff were quite abrupt about receiving deposits on arrival. Maintenance is lacking on the old hotel features. Mainly the lift and creaking floorboards. Great Location right next to the beach and overlooking the hills if you stay at the rear/side rooms. Bar team quite friendly and opening hours are usually extended."

"I’ve stayed here many times before. In my opinion this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in during my visits to Liverpool. It’s in a great location, not too far away from the city centre. Liverpool One is approximately a twenty minute walk away. It’s a nice walk along the dockside. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are friendly and really helpful. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds and the facilities are spot on. We sat and had a drink in the bar area and within a few moments we had a member of the staff asking if he could get us any food or drinks and that he would bring them over. We had a couple of drinks before we made our way into the city centre. The staff were very polite and gave us enough time to finish our drinks before they approached us asking if we would like anything else. There are no negatives about this place. Nothing is too much for the staff and we are already planning our next stay at the Titanic Hotel."

Atlantic Tower Hotel Liverpool By Sunday

10/10 Excellent

"Daniel on the front desk was amazing, there was also a young lady who helped us with our air conditioning as we were having problems, she then went out of her way to bring us a fan and a bucket of ice for our drinks. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much for them. Daniel had me in stitches, absolutely cracking personality."
