"Will 100% be recommending this to everyone we know. This place was INCREDIBLE. The dinner/breakfast presentations are vast and delicious, the spas are stunning, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. It’s an easy train ride from Kyoto/Tokyo and there is a daily shuttle service that you can book with the hotel. This was such a fun and genuine experience. Highly recommend! "

I had some trouble with the laundry machines in which the dryers weren't working but the staff had fixed the problem the next morning and allowed me to dry my things before checking out. "We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at their newest resort Tocoro Resort & Glamping. The staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and ensured everything was taken care of. The area surrounding the cabin and the cabin itself were beautiful. Oh yes, and the food! Compliments to the chef for going above and beyond to meet our vegetarian diet. This place is a gem in the woods. We had a memorable time!"

"Property had doubled the price at check in and wanted us to pay them directly. I booked on Expedia thinking I had it all covered. Being in the middle of nowhere in a foreign county, I felt scammed. We had to look for a new place during the night on the fly. Worst part of our visit to Japan was this booking. I felt they knew they were the only option available nearby. "

"This is a very nice camping ground location. The name is actually called Workshop camp resort. The google maps address is wrong, continue up the road past 2 other properties. The palace cabins are basic, good size. The hot water did not work in our cabin. Pretty location in the forest."

"The hotel was so beautiful and the attention to detail was great. The staff was friendly and helped us with everything. They also spoke English. We were given yukatas to wear and they were really pretty. The food was amazing, everything was really fresh. The in room bath had amazing views to Mt. Fuji and was relaxing. They also have a shuttle that picks you up from Kawaguchiko station at 8, 8:30 9 and 10 am. We ended up taking a taxi from the station to the hotel but we took the shuttle back to the station and it was comfortable and fast. I don't recommend walking to the hotel from the station because there are no side walks in the town and the cars pass really close to pedestrians. Overall, a great and highly recommended experience and place to stay!"
