"Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The in room amenities were a bit mixed. Great complimentary coffee but modest bathroom amenities. One bottle for all body soap, shampoo in one. Not bad but not any wow. Food at restaurant on 17 was pretty good. Had fennel soup that was over the moon good. Breakfast buffet was impressive, tasty and well thought out, right until it gave me a dose of food poisoning on my last day. Only downside of my stay. "

If you plan to do a canal tour, definitely plan to do this through the hotel’s boat, The Tourist, which boasts a historical link to Winston Churchill. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences as well. "
