"We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Al Minar. Good value for money, located close to all the 5 star hotels, but this one is affordable. Especially the family room which fitted us nicely."

"Very good location. Great staff! Affordable room rates."

"I stayed only 1 night there and had to check out next day but as the ferry to Dar Es Salaam was at 16.00h, I asked for 2 hours late check out and I was refused by manager who was saying that they are fully booked but when I wanted to book another day, then he said they have 1 available room. You see what I mean,he could say I can not let you check out late unless you pay but he is not kind enough to be honest. Not a good experience at all!"

"Really good value for money, location is good and staff were very friendly."

"Great location! We enjoyed our stay at Tembo House Hotel. The staff is very agreeable and the hotel has great amenities. It was also very easy to book activities through the hotel. Highly recommended!"
