No communication

Messaged host about check in day off and received cancellation 10 minutes prior to check in. When reaching out to why host was rude and said she was dealing with a prior booking all day. If you knew all day that the house was no longer available why wait until guest drives two hours and cancel 10 minutes prior to check in. This should have been communicated when the host knew the unit was no longer available

Dirty

When we arrived, there were full dirty linnen bags, trash in cans, trash laying around thru the house, dirty end tables, toothpaste and spit all over the bathroom mirrors, food in the fridge and these are not even the worsr part. The bedding was so stained and dirty that some people slept fully clothed and the kids slept fully clothed on the couch. It was BAD. I was told i would get a refund, but have since been ghosted. Not a great experience. Wish i could ppst pictures here to show just uow bad it was.
