You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Beautiful 2 bedroom cabin 40 feet from scenic current river. Boat ramp access.

This 2 bedroom cabin is a short 10 mile drive south of Doniphan, Mo. right on beautiful Current River. It is also 30 miles from Brick’s Off Road Park and 11 Point River. The cabin is 40 ft. from the river, with a deck that hangs right over the river. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave and a big upper deck to bbq on. We have WI-FI. We require a 2 night minimum stay and check in is 3pm, check out is noon (but we are flexible; especially if we have no other bookings near your arrival/departure dates). You can sleep 4 comfortably but up to 8 if you pull out our mattresses in the closet. We ask that you do NOT have more than 8 people at any time on the property. It also comes with boat ramp access. There is no gravel bar on our side of the river. We have towels, chairs, bbq grill, dishes, pots/pans, freezer for bagged ice storage, etc. This is the cabin we use EVERY weekend in the summer, when we are not renting it out. It is not a 5 star hotel but it is very nice with all the amenities!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
We do NOT charge a cleaning fee so please leave the place like you found it (swept, mopped, do the dishes, wipe down counters, trash taken out, launder (but do NOT make) bedding, Leave a/c at 77*
Wash and dry all towels. Any towels you use that morning before you leave can be left in the tub if you don’t have time to launder them.
Most of the time we can be flexible on a late checkout, just ask! This will allow you plenty of time to clean before leaving. If the cleaning list isn’t followed you will incur a $100 fee
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great, relaxing getaway

My husband and I had the most relaxing, peaceful stay. The cabin is so clean and cozy and the bed is one of the most comfortable we have come across away from home. Steve is a great host! Very helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely be staying again. We highly recommend others to stay as well.

Doniphan cabin

This cabin was overall a great place for our week long trip on the current river. The views from the deck are so pretty! The cabin was well stocked with everything you need. Communication with the host was great. Highly recommend!

Current River Stay 2024

We really enjoyed our stay! There was no cleaning fee which was AMAZING! We were just responsible for leaving the place how we found it. Having access to the river was perfect for us, we just walked up the bank to a sand bar and then floated back to the cabin. The was a perfect, beautiful, and relaxing spot! We most definitely want to come back again!

Very Peaceful

Want to go back when we can enjoy the river. We needed a getaway and thought this cabin was cute. Very peaceful in the off season. The owners were easy to reach and communicate with, when the smart tv was smarter than I was…Everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Doniphan is close by for groceries. Would go back anytime of year, for a long weekend.

Awesome Cabin

Very comfortable, clean cabin on the bank of the beautiful Current river. Great layout with 2 nice bedrooms upstairs. We had a great day kayaking down the river and fishing off the dock in front of the cabin. The host was great and this cabin is a real gem. It was fun to unplug from suburban life and enjoy a few laidback days in this beautiful part of the state. We hope to return very soon.

A Secluded Surprise

The Cabin was quite a surprise! It is a perfect secluded getaway. Clean, with extra cleaning supplies! About a 10 minute drive into town in case you forgot anything. Very relaxing to sit on the dock, read while your spouse dishes. Owners are wonderful at responding quickly.

Beautiful float!

We stayed at this little cabin last weekend and had a fantastic time with friends. It’s right on the water in a small, private neighborhood. The owner was super easy to get ahold of, and even let us use some of his firewood for the fire pit one cool night. There’s a small gas station nearby that’s great for beers and snacks. Cabin was clean, beds were comfy enough. We floated several miles on this stretch of river and it was perfect! Overall a really nice weekend. We’ll be back!

Great little weekend.

Overall this cabin was great. Cute little cabin close to Current River. Area was nice and quiet. There is 1 bath and it is not on the same floor as the bedrooms. The steps in the cabin are rather steep. This was not a problem for us, necessarily, but could be for others. I would say this cabin is great for a couple but could be crowded for a family. Host was very nice and easily available.

Perfect weekend getaway!

I cannot recommend this cabin highly enough. My partner and I stayed two nights here for a weekend getaway, and loved every minute of it! The cabin was perfectly clean, the wifi worked well, and the bed was super comfortable. The host was so communicative and helpful. Waking up to a view of the sunrise over the river every morning, eating meals on the decks in the sunshine, lounging on the pier and watching the water rush by—it was all so peaceful. Plus, there are so many beautiful hikes in the area! We chose to do the Greer trail (stunning!) and McCormack lake for lunch one day, but the Irish Wildnerness is also a great option. You won’t regret staying here if you want a relaxing break with beautiful views of nature and comfortable living!

River Weekend

August and September tend to be really crazy busy times for moms. My best friend and I just needed to get away from the city and the daily demands and we had a great stay. I am a fan sleeper and the amount of fans on the property to keep air moving was wonderful. The Current River is so gorgeous and the weather was perfect. Communication with Steve was great. Would definitely recommend for a long relaxing weekend or if you love fishing. :)

Family Army block leave Vacation

Me and my 2 sons one is 11 the other 21 he is in the army and on leave for 2 weeks from the army !!! This was a last min trip and I will say the owners are absolutely amazing very helpful and accommodating!!!! They had all kids of games for us to play in the house lights everywhere outside and an amazing fire pit for smores they even had firewood already set up for us !!!! We will be using them for now on !!!! Thank you for being a big part of making our family trip !!! The tether ball and volleyball set up is amazing!!!! Lots of great memories !!!!

Owner's were great

When severe storms and possible tornadoes hit the area during our stay knocking our plans were a little derailed. Unfortunately, the power was knocked out and conditions after the storm made it not possible to do most of the outdoor activities we planned during our stay so we opted to head home a day early. The owner's were very understanding and kept in touch with us as we tried to figure out if power was likely to return during our stay and are working with us to come back another time, hopefully with better weather! Under different circumstances the cabin would definitely be a great, somewhat secluded, get away by the river and we look forwadd to coming back.

Fun with friends

My husband, myself and some friends got away for a couple days to float the current. The water ended up rising super high when we got there and the host told us everything we needed to know! We got to float on the eleven point river and the current because the host gave us suggestions with the water rising! This cabin was perfect for what we needed and Steve was absolutely an amazing host! Steve answered all my questions super quick and gave us so much information on other floats with the current river rising so we weren’t stuck at the cabin doing nothing. My husband and his friend loved jumping off the dock. We definitely will be back to float the other places Steve told us about! Definitely recommend!
