Independent hotels in Dover, England

"Staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is being refurbished atm but our rooms were very nicely decorated (& clean), as was the hotel bar area. Free car parking on-site. Lovely building & grounds but still close to Canterbury town centre. Only possible downsides - refurb of restaurant not finished yet but hotel clearly communicated this before we went... besides, it's only 10 minute walk into town anyway which has lots of bars and restaurants. - tea & coffee in room but no biscuits 😉"

Jo in the restaurant was also very good and pleasant nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff and the hotel and management should be very proud of them."

Amazing that a buffet breakfast was imcludes in the price too, and pizza availabre 24/7 for an additional cost, and other items on the menu including vegan options."
