"Nothing is too difficult for a very hospitable host who personally welcomes you to her home.
More than pleasant, it was a very comfortable stay, and i would definitely recommend to anyone.
If i get back to Folkestone, i will almost certainly be looking to return to this wonderful little B&B."
"Lovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay."
"A quiet and clean hotel where guests are made very welcome. Locstion is nice and close to the city center.
I understand that the hotel is taken over by another owner not too long ago, so there is some work to do to make it even nicer.
I hope to return here in the future."
"To say this place is 1 star would be too generous.Turned up to front door to be greeted by 2 guests comparing bites they got from their beds and be told leave your valuables in the car as it would be safer.Your and said air conditioning but what we got was 3 open windows.Mattress was disgusting as was bathroom."

Lovely seaside town perfect for a weekend away (or even longer stay) with enough to do and plenty of places to eat out. Everything is fairly walkable.

We love Folkestone, its far enough away from home to feel like a 'holiday' and it has a cool, arty vibe with a lovely seafront. Lots to do for all ages.

Obviously it has to revive itself since the cross channel ferry has long gone, but I think it has done well. The harbour area is great. It's a bit like the NYC highline with a British twist.

One of the best seaside towns in the U.K., the harbour arm is world class and would give some of our friends across the water a run for there money, and they invented Al fresco dining.

It's very picturesque. Considered an arts and craft town so some unique touches. Town is going through a refurbishing boom.

"Very friendly staff even checking later.
We could still have dinner in bar with dog at last moment.
Room great, very well updated and clean. Bathroom lovely. Apart that the water in shower only trickled. No nice full stream"
"Was dissatisfied that you no longer accepted cash I’m 68 and don’t use a card I had to use my savings card surely it should be optional 😩😩 therefore it restricted 🚫 what I could buy 😳😳 when we arrived we were given a room number 0140 and in the bathroom there was puddles and mould on the floor I went downstairs and explained to David who PROMPTLY found us another room 259 it was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds I didn’t want to use my card so I was restricted we were made very welcome the breakfast was hot and tasty the Sunday lunch was beef or gammon thats day I had the beef it was so so tasty and the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the staff were polite and we enjoyed our stay there was lots to do around the area and the Harbour Arm was brilliant and the local pubs were very welcoming and not overpriced 😁😁😁 and ACCEPTED CASH "
"Couldn't fault the staff who went above and beyond our requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent ground floor accessible room.
First class breakfast included. Evening happy hour was appreciated and enjoyed.
