Nice hotel in the middle of everything Dublin

Posted 11-Oct-2017
Cons: Please don't give people's hotel rooms away!
We loved the hotel... once we got there... The first night we arrived very tired from the airport at 12:00 pm and were ready to crash and arrived at the hotel to find out that our room had been given to someone else! Very sad situation. The hotel tried to make things right by giving us some wine and beer which was kind but the only thing we wanted was to go to bed after a long day. In the end they sent us by cab to another hotel which was about 40 minutes away and we had a difficult time checking in there and didn't get to bed until 2:30 am! The next day the Maldron sent a cab to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel where they offered us a free breakfast. All the taxi driving took away from our exploring the city and having to go from hotel to hotel was a pain but once we settled in the Maldron we loved it!!

Location was perfect .. close to temple bar but still far away from the noise. Only wished the room setup was a bit different, it felt very small. But overall had a good experience.

Staff were excellent- accommodated our early check in. helpful recommendations Room was clean comfortable and cleaned daily. Hotel is twenty minutes walking distance from Temple Bar. The area is up and coming and safe. Great value for the eight nights we stayed there. No problems any complaints would be first world problems😎

Early check in and super friendly reception

Posted 01-Oct-2017
We arrived at Dublin airport really early (630am) and spent some time at the airport cafe knowing it was way too early to possibly check in. We got to the hotel around 9am and asked if we could either drop our bags off or check in early and the guy at reception told us to have a seat and he’ll see what he could do. As it was a super rainy day in Dublin it was awesome when he told us our room was ready (therefore we could shower and change our outfits woo!) The location of the hotel is literally up the block from O’Connell street which is the Main Street in Dublin (and a 10-15 minute walk from the temple bar area). Super easy to access the hotel and super busy area which made us feel safe walking no matter what time (we walked down to O’Connell at 3am to catch a coach for the airport and the streets were filled with people either coming home from a night of partying or doing the same thing as us, as most of the people around this area are tourists.) The hotel itself is clean and modern, the rooms were good size and comfortable. I wish the breakfast buffet was included in our hotel price but it’s okay as there are so many coffee shops and restaurants nearby!! Overall would come back here again :)

Perfect location for Central Dublin

Posted 30-Sep-2017
Pros: You have to use your key card to access the elevator to the bedrooms, which gives good security. Really nice comfortable rooms.
Cons: Maybe a bit more wardrobe space, ok for one person but bit small for a couple.
Location: Five minutes walk to O'Connoll Street, tour buses close by, Henry street for shopping, great location for a stay to explore the city of Dublin.
Literally a short ten five minutes walk to the top of O'Connoll Street and everything else within easy reach. Takes about 30 minutes to walk to St Stephens Green from the Hotel. If you use the red line on the hop on / hop off bus there is a bus stop at Parnell square just round the corner from the hotel. Hotel is in a quiet area, really nice variety at the buffet breakfast every morning, all self service so you can have as much as you want. Bedrooms are very spacious and bathrooms are well laid out. I have stayed at this hotel on my last three visits to the city and would definitely recommend it.

Could not fault the hotel. Spotless clean. Good sized bedroom. Food excellent. Staff polite and pleasant though not over friendly. About 5-10 minute uphill walk from town centre. Ok if you are fit. Would recommend and go again.

Convenient well priced hotel

Posted 24-Sep-2017
A few hundred metres from Airport Express stop so be prepared to drag luggage for about 6 minutes. Well priced and positioned if you want convenience without the price tag. Area seems to be undergoing refurbishment but you still need to negotiate a questionable section of O'Connell St.... late at night would not be the best.

Nice hotel within walking distance to everything

Fabulous clean hotel, staff were really helpful. Breakfast covers most if not all dietary requirements, plentiyful, hot and delicious. 15 minutes walk from the Temple Bar area. Highly recommended.
