"Comfortable,some of the decor needs worked on but for price it was good."

"Great staff Very warm welcome and attentive throughout the stay. Breakfast had a huge variety, always hot and never run out of anything. Very comfortable bed. Could do with a choice of pillows in there room. The sister pillows were also very soft. Yes some of the interior parts of the rooms could do with some TLC, but doesn't take away from a fantastic hotel, spa, golf course and restaurant. They had a large 21st party one night, but that didn't affect us, and could not be heard on the rooms. Little touches were brilliant, we stayed with a dog and they had door signs for the staff whether they could come in or not whilst the dog was in there. Also welcome flavoured water and Scottish Tablet Cannot wait to come back!"

"Reception staff were very friendly, our room was ready, despite only being just before 2pm. Great location right in the heart of the town centre. Walking distance to almost everything. The Kingsgate shopping centre is just a stoll away, albeit uphill. There is a wide selection of bars close by. The Alhambra Theatre is only about a 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Not a buffet, but you can have your choice of cooked items. The toaster was a joy, a single turn through the grill. All in all a lovely wee overnight stay. "

"Room was clean but musty and dated. I used to stay here a lot pre covid and was lovely but has gone a little backwards. Still value for money. "

"The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is good. The wi fi was a little slow on my last day but otherwise very good. The disabled access bathroom was excellent in my room. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back."
