"The hostel is very well located, just about a 10-minute walk from the train station and only a few minutes from the castle and historic center. We had a private room for three with its own bathroom — clean, bright, comfortable, and well equipped. The only downside was the wooden floor that creaked all the time. We highly recommend it for a short stay in Stirling. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it looked very clean and well equipped."
"I received an email from the host with accurate check-in information 1 day prior to check in. The breakfast was very minimal with toast being the only hot food offered. The windows in the room opened, allowing a nice breeze. The bed was soft and moderately comfortable. The view of the Sterling streets was nice and the property is within a 15 minute walk of the sterling castle. Be advised of spiral staircases making it difficult to get luggage larger than carry-on size up to the room.

"Our room was beautiful with lots of space, comfortable bed and we enjoyed the little treats they had for us. The breakfast is great and we enjoyed a drink in the bar as well as a delicious meal. We would definitely stay here again. "
"Our stay at the St Johns Jailhouse was lovely but too short! The apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean, well-equipped, and well-situated within Stirling, convenient to many sights and restaurants. Daniel generously provided milk and breakfast items, beyond the basic provisions. There was a lot of helpful information and local recommendations that we wished we had more time to take advantage of! We would highly recommend this apartment to others visiting Stirling. Only things to consider is that the apartment may be tough for those with mobility issues - the dedicated parking lot is a plus but is a bit of a walk and the apartment is upstairs. But for visitors without those issues, the apartment is perfect! "
