A lovely well designed spacious home. Ideal for a family get together!
Thank you Audrey. Very good instruction for all amenities, getting there and general use. The house was very clean, warm, comfortable, & spacious in a quiet rural spot. We were incredibly fortunate to have bright sunny weather enabling us all to fully enjoy the lovely alround views and the children to have fun in the secure back garden. Carlingford has much to offer we were out and about very day and enjoyed happy family time together in the evenings.

Family of 10 for 60th Birthday party
This house was so deceptive looking at the photos, its way bigger than it looks. Amazing views and the space was just perfect for a family of 10. The pool table and ping pong proved to be a great entertainment for all of us. Facilities were great, beds were very comfortable. We took a taxi in the evenings to the town which is not a long walk but a bit awkward in the darkness and quite narrow. It was 15€ for 10 of us to be transported for our meal that evening which worked out really well. Had food in the Bay Tree restaurant which was excellent. Highly recommend, Thanks to Audrey for the loan of her house. Geraldine

House was lovely with beautiful views and close to amenities in carlingford.
We booked the property as my son was getting married in Glenavy and the reception was at Darver castle. It was idea as carlingford is just over the border in the Republic of Ireland with north Ireland so close. I would recommend this property for a holiday with friends/family or just purely for a couple. I would like to add that the owner of the property was very helpful.

Well appointed house, perfect position for Carlingford and surrounding area
Very spacious property with amazing estuary views. Could not fault this home at all, it has everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday. Very clean and modern in a wonderful quiet position but within walking distance of town. A rare find-dog friendly as well! We are planning our return already.

Amazing large house, with great views. Perfect for a very large family.
Stayed here for a wedding and a long weekend in Carlingford with our extended family. Walkable to Carlingford centre in about 20 minutes. The house itself is very large with large rooms and lots of space, even if you fill it to maximum capacity there's still room to avoid each other :-) I don't think we needed for anything more within the house, everything is provided for use while staying. One major bonus for us while was the fantastic weather which allowed us to spend a lot of time in the huge garden with the great views of Carlingford and the Lough

Spacious home with amazing views and fantastic location!
We shared this home with three generations of our families and everybody was very impressed. The garden was brilliant for the kids and the location is great for exploring Carlingford and further afield. We can recommend the 7km bike ride along the greenway to Omeath. There are also plenty of shorter walking routes nearby. The house has plenty of space - especially the kitchen and dining area, which are well equipped. All in all, a memorable holiday in a lovely location...we may be booking again sometime!
