The Romney - a Shepherds Hut by Bloom Stays that sleeps 4 guests in 1 bedroom

"Absolutely magical! We were blessed with the most amazing skies during our stay and had the most wonderful time. The Romney was a dream. A cosy and beautiful shepherds hut with everything included to make our visit one to remember. The beds were comfy and included gorgeous wool throw blankets, cushions and hot water bottle. There were fairy lights and the little kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a delicious cooked breakfast and bbq feast. The cookies, marshmallows, tea, coffee and milk were a lovely touch. The real magic was being sat outside around the fire pit cooking our dinner and watching the sunset. Equally, the outdoor bath was a real luxury combined with the sumptuous toiletries and bath robes. We came with our sons who are 7 and 2 and they both had the time of their lives. I loved that we had the field all to ourselves apart from the odd visiting chicken. The location is ideal for exploring the local area; we had a fantastic time wandering the cobbled streets of Rye and then collecting pebbles at Dungeness. Highly recommend and fully intend to return again in the future."

"We stayed for four nights in this lovely well appointed apartment. It had everything we needed including bowls and biscuits for our dog. It's one of eight apartments in a modern building right on the coastal path with an allocated parking space underneath. It is right in the middle of Dymchurch and is a great place to watch the world go by. The village has everything within easy walking distance including a small Tesco with long opening hours. There's a great choice of cafes, pubs and fish & chip shops - the ice cream parlour directly behind the apartment is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Overall we had a great stay at the Ship Inn . Staff were lovely especially the male member of staff who served us in the restaurant with drinks and food . He went over and above to please had a wonderful friendly personality . A great asset to the team . Sorry we didn’t get your name . The down sides were the mattress in the Royal room needs replacing and we were kept awake until 1am by either an argument going on or very loud animated talking ! The absolute positive of our visit was the food . Excellent both evening and breakfast . 5 star . Fresh produce and well prepared . Thank you chef 👌. I would recommend a visit to the Ship Inn ."

"A cosy home-from-home near the beach (3 min drive, 10-15 walking). It's on a seaside housing estate, but a respectable area. Plenty of room for our family get-together of six adults and four children. Large lounge and two bathrooms, reasonable-sized, well-provided kitchen and dining area. Two large fridges. Sadly, no Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch trains running the weekend we were there, but it must be exciting when they are. Our grandsons love the story of the Railway Children and staying in the bungalow once owned by the writer was a lovely link with the past."

"The sunsets directly in front of the cabins were stunning, with the landscape constantly changing throughout the evening. There was a wonderful sense of calm as the world slowly darkened and it was time to settle in for the night. The children loved being outdoors, relaxing, exploring nature and playing freely. Feeding the lambs was an added treat and a lovely seasonal experience. The location is perfect for enjoying the countryside, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, BBQs over open wood fires, and the beach less than ten minutes away for scenic coastal strolls. The huts petit yet perfectly formed, with thoughtful touches and attention to detail that made the stay feel comfortable and unique. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return."
