"Hotel in general need of a ‘spruce up’, noisy and the breakfast staff weren’t the most helpful. However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel. Thanks for the stay :)"

"The Shore area and its bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance and the tram stop is just across the road. Staff are friendly and helpful and the bar is a pleasant place to round off an evening."

"The property's location was ideal for us. My daughter was studying the the Univ of Edinburgh and staying at Pollack halls. The proximity made it easier to see her and make plans. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and staff is very friendly. The bath amenities are top-rated! The heated towel rack helped a lot too. Overall, a comfortable stay."
