"The hotel itself was good. Only thing I have to say is bed too soft for my back , neck and shoulder injury. Little walk to the tram. Far from central Amsterdam. No food at hotel after 10am. "

"I was looking forward to my stay at the Royal Horseguards Hotel, thinking it would be a bit of a special hotel, perfect for a special occasion. The doormen who greeted us and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The reception area was spacious and welcoming, but I thought the background music was a bit too modern. There was a long wait for the lifts, one was out of action and another went straight past reception to another floor. We took the stairs as we were only on the second floor. The staircase was quite special though. The room itself was a good size with plenty of space for everything but it looked and felt quite dated with lots of scratches and marks to the furniture. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were quite lumpy. The aircon worked well and the shower was very powerful. We had a cocktail in the Green Parlour in the evening - expensive, but great service and a good range of English wines and spirits. Overall, it wasn't quite the experience I was expecting, I came away feeling a little underwhelmed. I had looked a booking it again in July for 2 nights, but at a cost of over £700, I will save my money and go somewhere else hoping to be a little more impressed."

"Un espacio minimalista, pero acorde a lo que ofrecen en su publicidad, limpieza y trato inmejorable, a unos paso de Picadilli Circus, lineas de metro y acceso a una cuadra para Autobús Turístico. Relación Calidad/Precio inmejorable. Ampliamente recomendable. Desayuno incluido que vale la pena."

"I always stay here in London. I heard a visitor from the US complaining that there was no hairdryer in the room. There’s no coffee or tea either. This suits me fine. Bring your own stuff or book somewhere else if you want a traditional hotel. "
