Cozy unique apartment nestled in the heart of downtown Elmira.

  • Perfect little location located in the heart of downtown Elmira. This location overlooks the Erie train tracks. At the back of the unit just steps away you can will find these great american businesses McDonald's, Weis Supermarket, Walgreens, and much more. Can I also mention this is the only apartment on the block. It overlooks of new world class art works.

    FYI: This is the second floor walk up "stairs".

Wonderful place to stay! The property owner was exceptionally cooperative, always accessible, and very helpful. He guided us throughout our trip, provided all the necessary information. The apartment was very nice and cozy, and my family really loved it. I will definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Great stay, easy to access, great host. I rented this for my employees and I while we worked in the area for the week. Would definitely stay here again if ever working in the area again

Property was nothing like advertised. Its in a very sketchy and questionable area of Elmira when it comes to safety. The apartment is the only building on a one way street upstairs a very steep flight of steps that can be difficult for anyone to get up to. The apartment smelled of must and was very hot. There was no a/c except for one's in the bedroom window which werent even turned on and it was June. The sheets on the beds were stained and didnt not look clean. There were not enough sheets/blankets for everyone who was supposed to be staying. The bathroom was dirty and bathtub/shower was old and stained. Immediatey contacted the host to inform him of the issues and that we would not be staying there as a result. He stated that he would give a refund but this was just the beginning of nightmare. Both VRBO and the host refused to give a refund and attempted to blame each other for the reason it was never given. The host stated that VRBO has control of the money to refund and VRBO stated that the host refused to refund the money. This cat and mouse game went back and forth for several days before the issue was finally given to legal counsel and is currently going through small claims. I highly recommend not staying here or using VRBO for those very reasons and would advise anyone else to do the same. Its poor business ethic on both parts and seems as if this is something they are both familiar with and seasoned in knowing how to responded without taking any accountability.
