We loved the cosy friendly atmosphere . Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Bar had a lovely warm feel to it . Food was excellent too.

This was our first stay at Mahons Hotel, but not our last. Staff go out of their way for residents. Food was amazing.

Nice but dated
Staff friendly, Hotel clean if not a bit dated. Food was good. We had a room upstairs floor felt uneven under your feet. No lift bit awkward carrying luggage up.

This was our first time in this hotel and it did not disappoint. Our room was large, modern and spotless. The bed was really comfy. We had our evening meal in the bar. It was really tasty and excellent value for money. We will definitely try and stay again

The main picture does not do the hotel justice, implies only on street parking however there is a large car park around the back, very friendly staff. this is a large hotel. would recommend

Great place to stay.
This place is really nice and clean. The check in was simple and quick. The staff were friendly and kind. Great place for my overnight stay. The only thing to note is that if you are parking, the parking is in back of the hotel.

Check in ever so easy. Dining area spotless. Meals always served quickly and hot. As family run business everyone very friendly. Would definitely stay there again Bedrooms very spacious, bathroom spotless.

We choose this hotel as it was convenient for a family occasion. We were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the owner (Joe) or his staff. Will stay again and thoroughly recommend.

Great pub hotel
Bed was very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and modern. Parking very easy. Only thing that lacked slightly was veggie options at breakfast.

Nice stopover
Food and beverage were excellent. Ample portions, well prepared, happily served. The hotel is basic and comfortable. We just spent one night from one coast to the other so I can’t really comment on the surrounding area.

Enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. The food was good. it was festival week,plenty going on around the town and hotel. Only downside was our room was right beside air conditioning fans which seemed to stay on all the time making it hard to sleep

Really friendly and welcoming.Attentive waitress for breakfast. Felt like home from home. Bar staff were really nice. Great music in the bar. Overall a nice comfortable hotel. Will definitley return in the future.
