Sound spot

Great stay at Abbey B&B. Hosts excellent and accomodated me with my booking error. Room/bathroom spotless and beds comfy. Peaceful considering it's proximity to the city centre. Tasty breakfast served with a smile. Would definitely stay again.

Short trip to Derry

The owners were friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was adequate and the location convenient for city sightseeing. I would recommend viewing area of B&B prior to booking.

The property is close/walkable to sites that Derry is famous for, e.g. the Walled City area, the murals, the Derry Girl mural, Derry Clock Tower, the St. Eugene Catholic Cathedral, the Peace Bridge over the Foyle River. Irish Breakfast offered big portions to finish. Hosts, especially Seamus, were too friendly.

A+++ Stay. Wonderful hosts, excellent location, large clean room, quiet location and amazing breakfast. Parking directly out front on the street. Very clean room and bathroom. This is a lovely B and B close to everything a visitor needs in Derry. In addition to the clean, quiet rooms, there are lounge areas stuffed with memorabilia and books about Derry history. It's a short walk to everything. The parking is right in front and we felt very safe.

Great breakfast, large 2 bed room & large bathroom. Lots of on street parking , safe area. Walkable to Catholic Church. City is hilly so walking not be taken lightly. Love love Derry . We stayed extra day. Because it’s very convenient to coastal sights.

We arrived late from Giant’s Causeway and host was most kind. He showed us to our room to make sure it and temperature was to our satisfaction. I can’t remember the last time a host did that! He told us a little family history and visited. There was tea and biscuit available after we got settled. In the morning, breakfast was delicious.

My experience was average overall. The host was not immediately available and moderately welcoming. I feel that the property didn't reflect the cost of the room. I had great difficulty getting the room key to unlock the door from the inside. Breakfast was more than adequate and the ladies preparing and serving the meal were quite friendly and accommodating.

Property manager wasn’t even on site when I arrived. Lights off. Doors locked. Place didn’t even look like it was in business. No note on the door or pre instructions in case this happened. Tried calling and texting the number provided with no response. After 2 hours, the property manager finally responded. Too bad at that time I found a new hotel with excellent customer service.
