Things to Do in Enniskillen

One of Enniskillen’s main attractions is the Marble Arch Caves Geopark. Visitors to the caves experience a fascinating tour of natural rivers, waterfalls and winding passages while glistening cave formations surround you.

Almost 600 years old, Enniskillen Castle is another highlight of the town that sits beside the River Erne. The historic site hosts The Fermanagh County Museum that displays the history of the Lakeland County, as well as the Inniskillings Museum.

Crom Estate is the perfect setting for a long walk, a day’s fishing or nature watching. You mustn’t leave without hiring a boat and sailing down the Lough, a truly breath-taking experience.

Take a short ferry over to Devenish Island, where a monastic site lies waiting to be discovered. The site was once raided by Vikings, burned down then restored in the Middle Ages.

The Belleek Pottery Visitor’s Centre is worth a visit while in the area. With pieces that date back to 1857, you feel like you have stepped back in time entering the Museum. The tour unveils the extremely detailed process that goes into making each piece of pottery. Treat yourself to a cup of tea and a scone in the café afterwards.
