COVID-19 has resulted in huge changes to the way we travel. If you're planning an escape to Enoshima, these tips will help you navigate these new challenges and rules:

• Before you book a flight, check if any travel restrictions or bans apply — in both your destination and origin. Get up-to-date information by checking government and travel websites.
• You must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, including at security checkpoints. You should be prepared to lower your mask for ID purposes when asked.
• Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer. Instead, you should place the pass on the scanner and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• You're allowed to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. You'll need to remove it for X-ray screening.
• Place any personal items (keys, wallet and phone) in your carry-on instead of a bin to reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray scanning. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to handle and inspect your belongings.
