"I had high expectations for this property based on its reputation, modern facilities, and strong reviews highlighting cleanliness, location, and service. I contacted the hotel immediately from the airport to request a simple adjustment to my arrival date. Despite the situation being clearly legitimate and time-sensitive, the hotel showed no willingness to accommodate, adjust, or offer any flexibility. This was especially frustrating given that hospitality—particularly at a luxury property—should include a level of understanding for real-world travel disruptions. It’s worth noting that the hotel’s own policies can be quite rigid, with non-refundable conditions applying in many cases, even for early changes or adjustments. However, policies should not completely override basic customer care and situational judgment.
