This is a cute little place to be if you are going to Evora. It’s right in the heart of the old city. Walking distance to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. One of the best places I have stayed. Great for couples.

Convenient location - small room

Room was unexpectedly small. Comfortable king bed but less than 1 meter (on 2 sides even less than 50 cm) left to the walls. No windows, just a small door to otherwise cute courtyard. Bathroom is for minions. Nice decorations and very clean. Conveniently located in the heart of the old town.

Cute little Guesthouse right in the centre

Location is excellent, right in the centre of the old town, so you can walk to every sights and restaurants. Parking is a little tricky, but check out the website. Rooms are clean and very cute. True king size bed. Renovated facility. Fully electronic. Great helpful staff. Super strong wifi. Good water pressure. Beautiful rooftop patio. **note the guesthouse has a lot of stairs and no elevators. Consider this is you have mobility issues or heavy luggages with you.

This property is in the middle of the old town of Avora. To reach the hotel one must either find the hotels underground parking or park outside the city center and take a bus or walk to the hotel. The area is very interesting and includes some wonderful old buildings. The hotel desk is Manned most of the time but may not be available for those looking for early check-in or who might be arriving late. The host hotel staff, we’re very helpful ,if one is using the hotel parking one will find it very difficult to find the location. Like most parking in Portugal one will find the parking garage very tight, especially for a larger car. We loved the very generous box breakfast that was included with our stay. We had plenty of pastries to get us well into the day. If one has difficulty with stairs, one might find this treck up and down to your room difficult. Don’t miss a visit to the castle. It’s one of the best sites of our entire trip to Portugal.

The property is very nice, quite and just in the middle of the old town. About getting there. In a day before arrival we received an email with driving instructions. The instructions were providing a destination point in the city after which we had to reprogram our GPS to the hotel parking. Knowing that reprogramming the GPS on the go in an unknown place can be stressful, we parked our car on a huge unpaved parking lot outside the city walls and using the GPS walked to the hotel parking. It is a short walk, everything is close in that city. After that we returned back and drove there with confidence. The parking is underground, it is spacious and have few levels. The hotel has parking spots on the first, second and third levels. The hotel itself is one block away from the parking, very close (about 80 meters). It is in an old long building with multiple shops on the first floor. The hotel door is between the shops and can be easily missed. I would not recommend driving directly to the hotel as it might be challenging. The city itself is nice, there are multiple restaurants close to the hotel. From our point of view one day is enough for the city.

We enjoyed our stay at Valeriana in Evora. The hotel is a converted Pharmacy that kept the history and charm but completely restored. We enjoyed the location and our host was so helpful. He steered us to the best restaurants The parking was a little challenging. But we did have parking so happy about that.

The Valeriana is just beautiful. The host was incredibly friendly and the boxed breakfasts were delightful and HUGE. I took most of it as a snack for the day. I loved the boutique feel and history of the hotel.

This was a lovely inn. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. They also had a fun little honour bar that we took advantage of. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Personal muy atento y pendiente de todo. Parking gratuito muy cerca del alojamiento. Hotel tipo B&B muy cuidado. Habitacion, aunque algo pequeña, muy bien aprovechada y comoda. Cama extra grande y muy comoda. Unicacion excelente, totalmente céntrica y muy cercana a todos los puntos de interés a visitar. Muy bueno para estancias de una o dos noches.

Sur la route du retour

De retour d'Andalousie vers la France nous rentrons par le Portugal. Premiere etape Evora. Belle petite ville avec plusieurs visites possibles. Nous choisissons cet hotel pour son emplacement et la possibilité de parking. Celui-ci est à 100 mètres de l'hôtel et pas facil à trouver malgré les indications reçues par mail. Heureusement le receptioniste est venu très aimablement nous aider, y compris à prendre nos valises. Seul reproche à l'hébergement : pas d'ascenseur et la chambre très petite. Tout le reste ext parfait, surtout la gentillesse du personnel.
