Vickery's Cottage - Free Parking and WiFi - Pet Friendly
Recently refurbished, Vickery's Cottage is a tastefully styled, bright and welcoming holiday home with two double bedrooms, a lovely open plan living room which opens out to the garden, a well-equipped kitchen, family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom.
Perfect for all seasons, the cottage has a log burner to keep things warm and cosy in the cooler months, and when the sun is shining there’s a fantastic enclosed garden with decking, a BBQ and outdoor furniture where guests can dine or relax in the sunshine before heading off to explore the surrounding area. Arranged over two floors, both bedrooms can be found upstairs and include a master with king size bed, and a twin bedroom with two single beds.
Woodbury is a pretty village in East Devon not far from the historic city of Exeter and the stunning Exe Estuary with its ancient port of Topsham. Nearby too is Exmouth, known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast, where a sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing or building sandcastles. Further along the coast, Budleigh Salterton, with its pebbly beach, lies at the mouth of the River Otter, a Site of Special Scientific Interest with a range of intertidal habitats including saltmarsh and tidal creeks.
The village lies at the foot of Woodbury Common which forms part of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and offers vast open countryside for cycling, hiking and dog walks. There are two popular pubs namely the Maltsters Arms and The White Hart as well as a takeaway, and the village stores and post office where you can stock up on a range of goodies during your stay. The rugged beauty of Dartmoor’s tors lie only half an hour’s drive away and here you’ll discover a diversely beautiful landscape to explore, as well as many wonderful pubs for enjoying a hearty breakfast or Sunday roast. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at nearby Woodbury Park Golf and Country Club.
*The garden also benefits from an Asgard police approved bike store

Lovely cottage in a perfect location
Vickery Cottage was a perfect location for us to visit family in Exmouth. Easy access to fabulous walks along the East Devon coast. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was excellent communication before our arrival too.

Vickers cottage
Modern cottage.spacious.good location.well stocked kitchen with appliances.disappointed on arrival with cleanliness issues.certain important areas had not been cleaned .overall it was a lovely holiday cottage.
The property was excellent, but it was the little things that made it that way. We never wanted for anything as it was all in the property. We passed the contact details to the local Pub as they often get asked where their visitors can stay. The property was immaculate, and should we visit Devon again, we will definitely stay there for a 2nd time.
