"We enjoyed our stay here . The room was clean and just what we needed for the night . The staff were all very lovely, the bar area is great and the breakfast the next morning was excellent . "
"Nice clean room.the reason for the average score is there is no breakfast and the food on a sunday stops at 6pm.we arrived just after six with no food available anywere near the property.Fair enough if they do this every sunday but tell the customers on the website before they book. on the monday evening food was available and was very nice. all in all a nice pub and hotel ."
"The staff were so friendly, as well as the locals in the pub.
Breakfast was great as well as evening food.
Couldnt find fault with this beautiful little place, within easy reach of getting arould by car."
"Great staff, lovely breakfast. Easy flat walk to park & ride.
Unfortunately lots of road and building work right outside.
Highly recommend. Thankyou for a great stay"
"I would really recommend this pub for your stay in Oxford.
The room I had was decent and the food i ate both in the evening (it has a predominant seafood menu with specials) and breakfast was excellent.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when they were busy. "

The Old Court Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very friendly cosy hotel. Staff were very freindly and polite. "
"Always stay at the Blue Boar when visiting Witney.
Convenient being central.
Parking, though not on site, is 3 mins walk away in the Woolgate carpark and free from check in until check out.
Breakfast is exceptional - waiter service and chef prepared.
Room are simple, but each have an iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Toiletries in bathroom. Aircon in my room much needed as room looked on to main High Street so not really able to open windows.
The night I stayed the local council decided to clean the drains during the night. The noise made for a very disturbec night. The hotel were unaware and when i went to reception at 1am they were luckily able to find me another room at the back of the hotel. Had they been full, not sure what could have been done.
Price comparison with local chain hotels is a no brainer - this is far better value.

"Nice room. Comfortable bed. Both kettle and coffee maker available with biscuits! Bottled water in fridge. Quiet and great location on main high street. Plenty of parking. Staff polite, friendly and helpful."
"To start with was easy parking and when entering the hotel was greeted with lovely smiley staff. It was lovely and quiet and very chilled not to busy lobby. We was showed to our room and explained what was what. Was nice ,clean and simple. The area is very quiet so sleeping was lovely, the bed was very comfortable but personally I prefer harder pillows ( but just bring one if need be ) surrounding area was clean very spacious. Was overall a great stay and would def come again . "
"Had a nice stay at The Evenlode. Enjoyed the food. The room had everything we needed. Power sockets in good places, always important. Check in was easy, as was check out. Staff were friendly. A little concerned that the shower seemed to have two bottle of hand wash rather than shampoo and body wash. Overall a good stay. "
"This is a lovely place. The staff are amazing. We were there for our wedding anniversary and we were looked after very well. Food is lovely, Hotel room is a little old but in keeping with the area. This is not a complaint. It really was lovely. We would stay again 100%. "
Cute cottage near a gorgeous village pub and a stones throw from many sights
10/10 Excellent
"This cottage is super cute and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Izzy the host was spectacular. She was kind enough to book two dinner reservations for us and both places were excellent. We would definitely book again if we are lucky enough to get back to the Cotswolds! "
