"The check in system is horrible. We wasted so much time trying to check in at the kiosks. Then, the kiosk sent us to the front desk. When we went to the front desk the lady was rude and sent us back to the kiosk. When I explained that were there and it sent us to her she repeated and pointed again to the kiosks and told us one of the ladies there could help us when we got back to the kiosks, the 3 ladies were overwhelmed as there were about 35 families trying to check in and they were all getting the same message so we had lineup in an unstructured line so one of the three ladies could help us. In short, the reissued us a new confirmation number and we were directed back to the kiosks where we input the new confirmation number so we could check in and get our room key. Yet, there was no one to direct us to the elevators, provide a hotel map, and give us any particulars about the hotel. It was so impersonal. Then, the elevator system is ridiculous too as it is also kiosk run. In short it could send 4 parties or the same elevator but it doesn't account if the 4 parties are made up of families between 2 people or 12 people. Hence you could have 16-20 people all waiting for the same elevator. In which case you have to exit the elevator lobby and start over if your elevator is full. If it wasn't for these things, the stay would have been great. Clean rooms, lots to do, reasonable prices, etc. Management really needs to reevaluate these two areas."

"This was an old hotel that had been obviously updated. The room was very clean and the decor very pleasing. Unfortunately the walls between rooms had not been updated and we could hear our neighbours next to us and upstairs from us very very easily. The location was good with respect to Fremont Street, however there were nightclubs just behind us that had head banging music until 4 am. This would’ve been useful to know. The minigolf area indoor was a lot of fun and there is a bar on site as well. I don’t know that I would stay here again due to the noise issues interrupting sleep."

"The room was exceptionally clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great location on Fremont St and within walking distance of a lot of venues, restaurants casinos and entertainment in general. The Apache is an old hotel and that gives it that old Historical Vegas charm. There was no fridge in the room such an inconvenience as I was there two days. The elevator stopped working that was connected to the parking deck. Lesson learned, be more attentive to the listed amenities. Parking was free, so a big plus for the downtown area."
